Traditional Sports – Part 2
The Winter’s Delight is a participation-based family activity event inspired by Traditional Sports and Games of the World.
Activity Description
The second part of the Winter’s Delights is devoted to TRADITIONAL SPORTS.
What better way to stay active during the cold season than to move, run or roll in the snow? This is what the sports leaders of Le Moulin à vent Productions offer the public through the discovery of heritage sports (qualified as Traditional Sports by UNESCO)
Le Moulin à vent Productions traveled to Europe, then to Asia, to discover several Traditional Sports organizations (clubs, associations, federations) still practiced today on 5 continents.
Since 2008, Le Moulin à vent Productions has been showing them to the Quebec public as part of Winter Enjoyment throughout the province.
